SEEDS Summer Program 2007

The Social Ecology Education and Demonstration School (SEEDS) is a new project
located on Vashon Island, near Seattle, initiated by long-time ISE faculty
member Bob Spivey and several colleagues. SEEDS aims to develop and offer
educational experiences that enhance people's abilities to knowledgeably and
creatively address the interwoven social and ecological crisis of our
time. The primary purpose of SEEDS programs is to prepare students for roles
as agents for positive change in their home communities and as members of a
global community.
This August, SEEDS will present its first public program, including
presentations and workshops on Ecology, Independent Media, Community/
