Hi again everyone, it doesn't help you at all if our web address gets
mangled! Please visit us at www.washgeo.org for more information and to
apply. Sorry! Tim

The Washington Geographic Alliance is holding its annual Summer Institute
July 7-11 in Kent, Washington on the theme of "Society and Nature in Puget
Sound Country."

The institute features:

   - 45 clock hours for continuing ed and pre-service teachers
   - Field trips to sites around the Puget Sound region
   - A chance to visit and collaborate with your peers from across the
   social studies
   - An emphasis on land-use planning and the environment

The institute is free of charge. The Washington Geographic Alliance will
provide for your hotel room (family members are welcome to share your room)
or pay for mileage if you commute daily. We also provide many meals (some
dinners are on your own) and for the field trip expenses.

For more information and an application, please visit www.washgeo.org or
contact me at the address below.

Applications received before June 10 will receive first consideration.

Kind regards,
--
