WE ARE PLEASED TO OFFER THE 2010 SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATIONS TO THOSE OF YOU
WHO TEACH HISTORY AND/OR SOCIAL STUDIES IN GRADES FIVE THROUGH TWELVE.
 
Further your history project with our help:
* Up to $1,000 contribution for continuing education relating to American
history. 
* Up to $1,000 contribution for curriculum development.
* Up to $1,000 contribution for travel and tuition to attend educational
seminars relating to American history.
* Up to $1,000 contribution for teacher enrichment project/program.
Any history teacher or support personnel who plans to continue teaching
grades 5 - 12 in Washington State is eligible to apply. You may apply for
more than one category.

and other relevant information.

 

Note that the application and online information have incorrect deadline
dates still reflecting 2009.  The 2010 deadline is March 5, with
notification sent by April 5, 2010.


Deadline:    March 5, 2010
You will be notified of your award by April 5, 2010.
Scholarships are to be used by December 31, 2010.
