Wonderful Washington Teachers,
We have a few spaces left for the National Archives Summer Institute -
Primarily Teaching, August 3-7, 2009.
Don't miss this opportunity to visit beautiful Seattle and learn more
about:
_____Narrowing your topic and "doing" history,
_____Using primary sources in your classroom or library,
_____The organization and holdings of the National Archives,
_____Transcribing handwritten documents, and writing accurate
citations.
Plus you will receive lots of hands-on experience finding and using
primary source documents themselves, as well as hearing from historians
and teachers who are using primary sources in their work.
The application fee is $100, which includes all of your materials and a
few meals. All application materials can be found at

Also, we are offering 1 graduate credit hour for and additional $60.00
through Northwest Nazarene University in Boise, Idaho. 15 Clock-hours
will also be available.
