[WSCSS] Climate Change Workshop at Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium, 7-22-09

Are you a middle school or high school teacher interested in introducing
your students to Climate Change issues?  If so, you are invited to apply to
join the Zoo's education staff and Facing the Future at Point Defiance Zoo &
Aquarium on Wednesday July 22, 2009 for a FREE workshop. 

 

You will receive helpful information and participate in activities from the
curriculum "Global Climate Change: Connections and Solutions". We will also
discuss how polar bears are affected by climate change and meet some of the
Zoo's bears.  Zoo admission and Washington State clock hours are also
included at no cost.  Fifth grade teachers are also welcome to apply for
this opportunity.
