FYI, and a reminder that the First Amendment in schools will be a big
topic at the 2010 WSCSS leadership retreat in Lake Chelan. One of the
keynote speakers will be Mary Beth Tinker, the plaintiff in Tinker v.
Des Moines, a major Supreme Court about students' free speech rights
(see http://www.landmarkcases.org/tinker/home.html).
