Civics Education Text Now Available


Are you finding it hard to fulfill state expectation regarding civics
education? Teachers of middle-school and high-school students can get the
help they need my getting the text that does it all: The State We're In:
Washington, published by the League of Women Voters of Washington Education
Fund. This text covers state, tribal and local governance; state and tribal
history and the evolution of the state's economy. It's companion Teachers
Curriculum Guide was written by teachers and is coded to EALRs and CBAs. The
Guide provides learning activities and exercises appropriate to various
grade levels.


The League will have these books and other information at the upcoming WSCSS
Conference in Edmonds. The Education Fund section of our website
