The Washington State Council for the Social Studies (WSCSS) is seeking dedicated individuals to serve on our board of directors. What You'll Do:

As a WSCSS board member, you will:

  • Contribute to the strategic direction of social studies education by actively participating in board and committee meetings.

  • Develop and implement high-quality professional learning opportunities for teachers, empowering them to deliver engaging and effective instruction.

  • Advocate for the importance of social studies education at the local, regional, and state levels.
